Review : Orange SPV
Is Orange SPV a cellphone for you? Maybe!

If you already have Pocket PC phone (to the left) or iPAQ, then on below picture you can see Orange SPV cellphone in the middle:

In all respects it looks smaller than both Pocket PC devices, but if you add attachable camera:

 ... to it, then it looks a little bit long:

... in comparison to the Pocket PC devices, and if you take a look at the same gadgets from the rear view:

... then you cannot fail to notice that all 3 have one thing in common, namely "Microsoft Windows Powered" logo, that you can see here on the cap:

... where by the way you can observe also socket for external antenna (in case you would like to use the phone in the car).

Now, letīs put on the table Pocket PC phone, then the Orange SPV on it, and then a regular iPAQ on the Orange SPV:

... whre we can observe that the Orange SPV looks a bit thick (fat) compared to Pocket PC devices.

Now, letīs turn our attention to accessories. The Orange SPV cellphone is a GSM tri-band phone, and it means that it works also in USA. In the package there is a power supply that thanks to exchangable parts is able to work both in Europe and in USA:

The truth is that many people buy such cellphones like Orange SPV just for the sake of listening to the music on the go! Stereo headset is included in the package:

... and it consists as you can see also of microphone with touch to speak button, and also small volume controller (max/min).

On the other hand, if you would like to connect the SPV phone not to yourself, but to the computer then this USB cradle can help you:

... but you can connnect the SPV phone to your computer also in another way: by infrared port.

Last, not least, there is even a case included in the package:

To give some verdict is possible only if you use given cellphone for several months, and Orange SPV is a new phone with new software, in fact it is the first commercially available "one-handed, without touch screen" cellphone powered by Microsoft Windows.
